Hello,
You want more train content, you will get it. Soon! <3
I visited a Dance Workshop in Centrum Folkloru Polskiego clsoe to Warsaw. Two dancers of the Mazowsze Ensemble taught our group how to dance Kujawiak.
It made me wonder: Where in Berlin or around can we learn about or experience Polish (or other!) folklore traditions? Please share any hint with me.
If there is no such place, well… should we start a folklore dance group?

Polish Perspectives
A full day of Polish Perspectives: With the current Polish EU Council presidency, AdK hosts a day-long event, that combines Polish voices across different disciplines. The programme includes readings of Grass and Joanna Bator, debates on role of women in political change and current developments in Polish cultural policy as well as both a sound and theatre performance.
My personal highlight: A conversation with Agnieszka Holland, right before a screening of Green Border. A drama telling the fateful and intertwined stories of refugees, activists and border police in the forests of the Belarusian-Polish border.
The programme is remarkably rich in interesting topics as well as people from Poland’s cultural landscape. See the full programme here!

Great piece! Not exactly folklore but Kitchen Conversations (Patrycja Rozwora) often organises events focused on Polish culture in Berlin. Recently, there's been an afternoon of Eastern European cuisine with a screening of a Georgian film, or a "potato pop-up" with food and talks about the role of potato in Polish culture (this one was co-organised with C-Space).
Wish I was in Berlin for all of this 🙌🙌🙌🇬🇪
